Madina's story

Madina is 32 years old, married and a mother of 3 children. She has been involved in animal husbandry and farming for 10 years, and is an expert in her business. Madina has a higher education and works as a teacher at a local school. Her entire family helps her with the business. Madina achieved significant results in her business. She has 3 dairy cows, 5 sheep, and 2 horses. Having dairy cows allow Madina to sell milk to local residents and wholesale buyers. She also has 0.85 hectares of owned and 2.50 hectares of leased land, where she grows potatoes, cereal crops and sainfoin for internal consumption and sale. Madina requested a loan in the amount of 90,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum" Bank to buy purebred cows, which will allow her to increase the volumes of ecologically clean, delicious milk and, thus, profits from its sales. Madina plans to use the earnings from the loan to expand her business and also to buy an apartment in the city.
