Maa Maheswari Shg Group's story

Pankajini is a 34-year-old lady living with her husband and three children in a village named Ambasharbhata in Sonepur district of Odisha, India. Pankajini is engaged in the activity of selling milk and milk products in her house. She has two cows in her herd. She has been involved in this activity for the past few years. She sells 15 litres of milk daily at the rate of 30 INR per litre. She started to sell milk in her house and assists her husband financially. Pankajini, along with her group, has requested a loan amount of 195,000 INR and she will use her portion for purchasing more cows. She says that doing so will let her increase her customers and then she can supply milk in large amounts. She also wants to repair the cattle shed. She has a dream to give a better living standard to her family and save some money for future misfortunes. The other 12 members of this group are engaged in various activities and all are very happy with this loan.
