Eva's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to provide mobile services in her community.

Eva's story

Eva lives in Garut, a town in the West Java province of Indonesia and the capital of the Garut Regency, also known as the ‘Swiss van Java’ in the colonial era. Eva’s husband is an employee in a private company. As a housewife, Eva contributes to the family's income by running a small stall that sells snacks, drinks, consumer products such as groceries, personal care and home care products, and mobile phone airtime credits. Eva joined Ruma about a month ago because she wanted to expand her business. She feels comfortable doing business with Ruma because she is starting to see improvements in her small stall after she got support and assistance from Ruma staff. As the business runs, she hopes to get a working capital loan from Kiva in order to provide more airtime transactions in her community on the weekends. Eva is pictured in the photo standing in front of her small stall and holding up Ruma banner. She thanks you for your support.
