G.s. Pueblo Nuevo Group's story
Noemy is 29 years old, married, and has 2 children. She lives in the municipality of Nueva Frontera, in the department of Santa Barbara. She always worked in agriculture alongside her family, cultivating corn and beans and raising barnyard fowl. For 7 years, she's been cultivating coffee. She sells the coffee beans wet, in parchment, and dry in the same area. She is requesting funds through a group loan, from which she will take 20,000 Honduran lempiras to buy fertilizers, leaf foliates, and fungicides to apply to her coffee crops. This way she can improve the conditions of her crops and get a better harvest. Her plan is to continue to grow with this crop so that she can improve her family's living conditions. Noemy is a member of the communal bank "G.S. Pueblo Nuevo," which has 6 members who work in agriculture and live in the same area. They are requesting a loan of 110,000 Honduran lempiras to buy fertilizers, leaf foliates, and fungicides to apply to their coffee farms.
