A loan helped to buy merchandise for her grocery store.

Pascuala's story

Life offered her the opportunity to work as an employee in a basic foods store. It was what she wanted, not only an open door but also what was behind the door. And through it she found something that defined what she wanted to be. At 30 years old she is single and a native of Suchitepéquez department. She has 3 children from her first marriage and has her family. The second and third children study in their community.

Pascuala has made an impressive effort in spite of her age. She is an enterprising woman who says it is never too late to start to develop and have a vision for the future. The business that she has been carrying out with dignity for the past 5 years is buying and selling groceries in her community. It is through this that she has generated economic revenue for her family and a profit to improve her living conditions.

The use that Pascuala will give to the loan that she is requesting is to buy merchandise to stock her grocery store so that she won't lose the clients that she has. Her dream is for her family to have decent living conditions for the future and for this she wants to buy two mills for nixtamal (boiled corn) and install them in her community.
