Nadia's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to buy necessary hair tools that will facilitate her work and provide her customers with more fashionable hairstyles.
Nadia is a 46-year-old Palestinian refugee and married mother of four children. Due to the low social and financial situations of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and their limited work access, she decided, five years ago, to work as a hairdresser running her business from her house, to help her husband in covering their beloved family’s living expenses and needs. Nadia learned hairdressing from a specialized vocational college, and she has gained a good reputation for her professional skills in this domain, as she moves from one house to another to provide her customers with very creative and fashionable hairstyles. Today, Nadia is acquiring a Loan from Kiva’s field partner Al Majmoua to buy necessary hair tools that will facilitate her work and provide her customers with more fashionable hairstyles. She will also benefit from this loan to help her husband who owns a hookah café to develop his business. Nadia is working hard to increase her income and provide a better future for her beloved kids, as she hopes she will be able to own a hairdressing salon in the upcoming future and become a very famous and professional hairdresser.
