Carlos's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy motorcycle parts and sewing machine parts.
Carlos is 62 years old, and is the owner of a mechanic shop located in the department of Atlántico where he lives with his partner and his 12 year-old child. Thirty five years ago he started his experience as a maintenance and repair mechanic. Since he worked in workshops from a young age, he learned how to repair and maintain motorcycles and sewing machines until he opened up his own shop and began working independently, as he still does today from 8 in the morning until 6 at night, every day. His workshop generates employment the benefits the community. His greatest challenge is increasing his sales to generate more revenues and ultimately obtain his own home. He is currently requesting a a Kiva loan, his first financing from Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, with which he will buy motorcycle parts and sewing machine parts. With this investment he will have an inventory of parts that he does not have today, and this is why his Kiva loan improves his business.
