Diakaria's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a bag of flour, a 5-liter jug of oil and various ingredients.

Diakaria's Group's story

[This group] has been in existence since the launch of its banc villageois on February 5, 2014. It is composed of women who wished to take part in the banc villageois program in order to receive financial support for growing their businesses. They just started their second loan cycle after finishing the first cycle without issues. They all have been living in the same village for years and maintain good relations in the spirit of solidarity and mutual help. They mainly work as vendor and grow seasonal rain-fed produce. Mrs. Diakara, 31 years old (the one seated on the far right raising her hand) is the star borrower of the group. She is married and the mother of three: one son and two daughters. She sells “fataye” (a snack made from flour and served with a sauce) and grilled peanuts in her village in the evenings.
