Ramatu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase additional inventory (e.g., rubber, buckets, and spoons) in bulk for resale purposes.

Ramatu's story

This is 48-year-old Ramatu. She is married and has three children, who are 25, 17, and 13 years old. She has one additional dependent, who lives with her as a sales assistant. In 1996, Ramatu established her plastics sales business. Specifically, she sells goods such as plastic/rubber bowls, buckets, and spoons. She began her business because she wanted to help take care of her home and family. By working seven days per week and 10 hours per day, she is able to earn approximately 900,000 SLL (Sierra Leone leones) every month from her business. She explains that she is very hardworking. She is now seeking a loan in the amount of 5,000,000 SLL. Ramatu would like this loan in order to buy more rubber, buckets, and spoons in a very large quantity for resale purposes. In the future, Ramatu plans to build a house and to educate her children to the university level. She thanks you for your support.
