Hussein's story

Hussein is a 23-year-old married man who established his own electricity providing services station in his region 9 years ago. Lebanon citizens face major electricity problems. Hussein is a responsible person and works hard to provide his neighbors and customers with the requested services in a well managed way. He has a power generator which he maintains through regular scheduled maintenance. His business is in high demand because of the problem local people face with the supply of electricity. Hussein increased his income and became capable of covering his family’s expenses and living needs. He is acquiring a YOUTH Loan from Kiva’s field partner Al Majmoua to develop his business and buy spare parts, cables, and necessary requested accessories to expand his work and satisfy more customers. He hopes to keep on developing and expanding his business in a well managed way. He wants the business to be sustainable and provide a good income.
