Ramon Antonio's story
Mr. Ramon Antonio P. G. is a native of the Totonicapan province, located 210 Km. from the capital city in the western part of the country. The area is graced by natural forest known for its pine trees and apples. From the time he was a boy Mr. P. G. learned the trade of raising and butchering pigs, and the sale of pork and pork products, from his beloved father, who has passed away. He had always wanted to start his own business, which he has succeeded in doing. Now he is seeking a loan from ASDIR in order to increase his capital. During the end-of-year season he sells his products in Guatemala City for the New Year’s Eve festivities. He hopes he will be able to take advantage of this opportunity so he can improve the quality of life for himself and for his family.
