Peacock Group's story
Helena, who is in her late thirties, is married and has two sons and two daughters who are in school. For two years, Helena has been managing a business of clothes and cosmetics. She works from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily and is able to make a fair monthly profit. This is her fourth loan request via Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans, all of which she paid back successfully, to buy clothes and cosmetics stock. Helena received an extra income, which she used to cover household expenses and school fees and she also plowed back to her business so as to grow it. Helena will use this loan to buy a tailoring machine and ladies clothes to resell. She dreams to become a successful businesswoman. Helena will share this loan with her loan group,"Peacock," which totals three members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan
