Kadiatu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase more food containers, plastic buckets and flasks to expand her business.
Meet Kadiatu. She is 40 years old and comes from Waterloo Western rural area in Freetown. She is married with four children. Fifteen years ago, Kadiatu established her food container business. She began her business because she wanted to empower herself and have a better standard of living. She works at the business throughout the day, 7 days per week. She says that the major problem with her business is improper security within their business place. Sometimes thieves go to the shop and steal the goods. Kadiatu requires a loan in order to purchase more food containers, plastic buckets and flasks to expand her business. Seemingly distinct businesses are often mixed in Sierra Leone, the idea being that a customer will come to purchase one thing but will leave having purchased another. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to take care of her family's welfare and increase her business. In the future, Kadiatu plans to expand and open another shop. She thanks you for your support.
