Fatu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand and improve her business by purchasing additional goods (e.g., dishes, spoons and used clothes) for re-sale.

Fatu's story

Fatu is a 35-year-old, hard-working woman, who was schooled through the 10th grade. She lives with her boyfriend and her two children, who are 8 and 19 years old. Her children currently attend school.

For the past five years, Fatu has been selling various items, such as dishes, spoons and used clothes. She explains that she sometimes faces business challenges associated with slow sales and high costs of transportation (transporting her goods by car to her business center). She typically works 8 hours per day. She started this business with help from her boyfriend's savings and learned this trade from her mother. She likes her business because it helps her to support her family. Her future plan is to build her own store and to give her children a better education.

She is now seeking a loan to buy more goods, such as dishes, spoons and used clothes for re-sale purposes. She thanks all lenders for their support.
