With this loan, they will be able to expand their respective businesses, make more profit and consequently improve their standard of living. The featured leader of this group is Hawa. Hawa is age 40; she was born in Tankoro, Kono district, eastern Sierra Leone. She is married to a businessman and the couple has four children who are attending primary and secondary schools. Hawa sells dried fish and has been a businesswoman for three years now. With the help of this loan, she is going to buy baskets of dried fish to add to her current stock.
