Kim's story

Kim T., 40, is married and lives with three children and her husband in the Kampong Cham, Cambodia. She works at home breeding pigs and is able to make US$2.50 each day, while her husband is a farmer and horse-cart driver. He makes a combined US$5.50 per day. One of their children is a mechanic and one is a tailor. These two children also support the family with around US$100 each month. Kim T. would like to take out a loan of US$1000 to invest in a new business. This money will be used to rent a banana farm.
