Marcelina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy a bull to further expand her livestock.
Marcelina is 60 years old. She never attended school because it was very far away. She is a single mother of 7 children, for whom she strives to get ahead. Only one of her children and a grandson live with her. She makes a living in domestic work, and is the one who manages all of the assets that she has succeeded in acquiring with her business. In addition, she has livestock and milks two cows. She also has pigs, and farms maize that she uses for consumption. She learned this work from her parents, who taught her very important values. These are all the activities that she is engaged in. The parcel of land upon which she grows her crops is a kilometre from her house, and she makes the trip there and back on foot. Her son is involved in all of Marcelina's work as well. The solicited loan is needed to buy a bull in order to further expand her livestock. Her dreams are to always work so that her home never lacks an income, and she hopes that her children do well.
