Fuaselela's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase grocery items to offer for sale in her store, as well as to buy a new freezer.

Fuaselela's story

Fuaselela, age 52 and widowed, runs a small shop in her village to earn a living. She has been in operation for more than three years and has been a member of the SPBD program for more than seven years. Fuaselela has five children. Since Fuaselela joined SPBD, she has managed to improve her livelihood and her family's standard of living, and she has been better able to provide for her family's essential needs. She plans to use her loan funds to restock her store. She will buy such items as sugar, flour, rice, onions, snacks, chicken pieces, mutton flaps, sausages, soft drinks, coffee, and tea, as well as laundry detergent and soap. She will also purchase a new freezer.
