Violetas Group's story

The community organization "Violetas" will begin its 29th cycle in Pro Mujer, as part of the Panamericana Regional Center, and it consists of eight members and is led by a board of directors in which Martha is the president. The businesses that the members of the community organization work in are varied and include: knitting blankets, selling plastic, a sewing shop, sewing tennis shoes, and crafts. The loan she's taking is to increase working capital (purchase of wool wholesale) she'll acquire from wholesalers in the city of El Alto and she'll subsequently sell what she produces. This line of work allows her to generate income to support her family since she's married and has four children. When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer she answers that she likes the health services offered by the institution. In the picture an additional person can be seen with the group. She's the sister of one of the customers and is wearing a red sweatshirt.
