Roidah's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped To purchase additional empty crates so that she can order more stock.
Roidah is 53 years old. She is married with four children ages 28, 25, 21, and 20. She operates her own business at one of Lusaka’s busiest markets. Her business deals in the sale of Coca-Cola products on wholesale to other small businesses in her community. She employs two people who help her in the day-to-day operations of the business. She has been running her business for many years and understands the importance of having enough empty crates to order additional drinks from the suppliers. Roidah says her business is good, but the one thing holding her back is that she needs to increase her turnover in selling by having more stock on hand. She explains how the number of drinks she can order is directly dependent on the amount of empty stock she has. If she can acquire more capital to purchase additional stock, this will help scale up her business and earn Roidah more profit. She is hopeful that once she has more crates, her profit margins will increase by having additional turnover in the business. She hopes to use the profits from her business to purchase a piece of land and build a home for her family.
