Sonnie

Sonnie is a 46-year-old hard-working woman who did not go to school. She is married and lives with her husband and three children, ages 16 to 23. Two of her children are in school. For the past five years, Sonnie has been selling dry goods. She will use the loan money to buy rice and oil to sell. She transports her goods by motorbike to her business center and sells nine hours per day. She started this business from her daily savings and learned this trade from her friends. She likes her business because it is profitable. Her future plan is to change her business. She says thanks to BRAC.
