Anarkul's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase livestock.
Anarkul is 46 years old, a widow raising 3 children alone. Anarkul has a secondary-specialized education and works as a cook at a local kindergarten. Anarkul also receives a pension due to her health condition. However, the earnings from the work and pension are not enough to support the family. After the death of her husband, when the family was left in a troubled situation, Anarkul had to support the family on her own and find an additional source of income, and became involved in animal husbandry and farming. Today, Anarkul's business contains 1 cow, 1 bull, 10 sheep and 4 horses, and also has a 6.00 hectare land plot, where Anarkul grows potatoes, cereal crops and sainfoin. Thanks to her hard work, today Anarkul earns an average monthly profit of 13,000 som (KGS) from sales of agricultural products, fruits, vegetables and milk. The children actively help her with the household, both with sales and running the business. In order to further develop her business, Anarkul requested a loan in the amount of 150,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum" Bank to buy livestock. Anarkul plans to invest the earnings from the loan into developing her business in order to save money to buy a house in a resort area; she has a dream of getting involved in a tourism business in the future.
