Ada Del Carmen's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a refrigerator for starting a mini-market.

Ada Del Carmen's story

Ada, age 25, is a responsible person who provides styling services in her community. She grew up with her grandmother, who takes care of the chores at home. She was the one who instilled good principles in her granddaughter Ada. Some time ago, Ada participated in a training course where she learned about hair styling, makeup, and cutting hair. This training course was offered through social programs administered by the municipal government. Ada lacks a formal education because her family has very limited financial resources.

Her family consists of her grandmother, her husband, and her seven-year-old daughter who is attending a school in their community for her basic education. Ada has four years of experience working as a stylist in her community. She learned the business while participating in a course that was given in her town. Ada also depends on remittances that her husband sends from the United States.

The money from this loan will be used to buy a refrigerator so that she can set up a mini-market in the area where she provides haircuts and styling services. This will give her another source of income that she can invest in improving her business. Ada’s dreams for the future include opening a beauty salon in town and making improvements to her house by obtaining another loan from CrediCampo. She also hopes to have her own vehicle for traveling and carrying merchandise for her mini-market.
