Navigator Group's story
Jane is a businesswoman who makes her living by managing a low class restaurant, commonly known as mamalishe, a business she has been with for six years. She serves breakfast and lunch food. She starts serving people from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm daily and is able to make a fair monthly profit. Jane is mid thirties, not married, and has got one schooling son. Jane is requesting a third loan via Tujijenge Tanzania. She invested the previous credits in her business; she bought food cooking ingredients such as rice, maize and baking flour. She replaced some defect business equipment like tables, chairs, pots, utensils, etc. with new. With more efforts, she received an extra income which she used to cover school fees and household expenses. She is requesting a new credit which she will use to buy food cooking items. Jane dreams that one day she will be able to improve her business more. She will share this loan with her loan group NAVIGATOR, which totals three members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
