A loan helped to purchase one more cow and feed for its calves.

Root's story

Root is a 53 year-old married woman who has done business selling milk for a period of about 10 years. She is doing it with the support of her husband, who is also shown in the photo. She has three calves and two milking cows . She sells milk to many of her neighbors, along with butter that she makes from the milk. Her business is good enough to lead her decent life. She has improved her business to meet day-to-day expenses of life. It’s her fifth year with Kashf Foundation. She is happily running her business with its support. Now she requested a loan of 40,000 PKR to purchase one more cow and feed for the calves that she already has. She hopes to increase the production capacity of milk, which ultimately helps in generating more cash.
