Ama's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy charcoal.
Ama is 43 years old and lives in the Agoè district in Lomé. She ran a restaurant between 2009 and 2012 but had to give up that business and start selling charcoal due to poor sales. Ama sells charcoal in front of her home from Monday to Saturday between 7.30am and 5pm. Her customers value her warm welcome and her skills as a good listener so much that she has to get supplies twice a month just so that she can satisfy demand. The high cost of getting the supplies delivered to her home has prompted her to ask for a loan so that she can start buying what she needs just once a month. This loan will enable her to buy 20 extra bags of charcoal.
