Sacristain Group's story
The customer, Masika, has been a trader for the past ten years and she is vice-president and member of the "Sacristain" business association. She is an entrepreneur who is 48 years old and mother to ten children, all of whom are studying. She sells used shoes and displays her goods in a market in the town centre. She is requesting a loan from Hekima so she can expand her business, and she is going to buy 180 pairs of shoes. Her husband is a civil servant who works for the State Administration. She began her business with funds from her husband. In the future she would like to be able to educate and feed her children. She is grateful to Hekima for having chosen its objective well, by supporting female entrepreneurs who do not have access to the classic bank system, by granting them loans without requiring any material guarantee.
