A loan helped To boost her working capital at her new Zoona mobile money outlet to satisfy customers who need to send and receive money.
Sekela, aged 31, prides herself on being hard-working. She is the mother of two young children, aged four and one year and four months. She has continued to grow her Zoona mobile money transfer business by opening another outlet in her home town of Chipata. Sekela enjoys her business because it helps her to provide for her growing family. Sekela received her first Kiva loan in February. The loan helped her business by increasing the amount of money that she uses to service customers. This helped her grow her business because she was able to provide a quicker and better service to her customers. The loan also helped her to open another outlet. In addition, she has employed three young people to help her run her two shops. Sekela is requesting her second loan in order to boost the working capital at her newly opened outlet. She explains that having sufficient money to serve customers is very important for her business as it helps to build trust with her customers. Sekela is grateful to all Kiva lenders for their continued support. She would like to let them know that she has enrolled her oldest child in a school.
