Pakuza's story

Pakuza is a 48-year-old woman with three children. She is an IDP (internally displaced person) and lives with her husband and sons in the Bilasuvar IDP Settlement. When she was 13, she started to learn to work in agriculture. Her parents were the ones who taught her to grow fruits and vegetables, since it was their only source of income. She has been growing vegetables and fruits for more than ten years now. She sells her crops in the central bazaar to make profits in order to support her family. Her income from her business is 150 AZN. In order to increase the living conditions of her family, she plans to expand her business. This requires a lot of dedication and effort. She believes in the near future her sons will help her to expand the business. Since the vegetable and fruits business is profitable and a fun business, she wants the business to continue and prosper. Pakuza needs a 1500 AZN loan to buy fertilizers, seeds and fruit trees. Her biggest wish is to offer her children an education so that they can have good careers and help their family. This is her fifth loan and she has a good loan history.
