Batoura's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped buy cosmetics to display in her shop for resale.

Batoura's story

Batoura is a 28-year-old lady, who has had training in the hotel industry and and has now been a merchant for the past four years. She opened a shop selling cosmetics, hair extensions and hair weaves. She runs her own shop and opens from 7:30 am to 3 pm. Batoura collects minimum 2,500 francs a day on average from selling her products, because although she may sell more than this amount, she may also not make any sales at all. She is requesting this loan to bolster her cosmetics shop (body milks, creams, perfumes, ...) and improve her sales. She is a single mother and is taking care of her child, but also of her parents as she is still living in the family home. With revenues from her business and the provision of services in some hotels, she manages to make ends meet. Some day she would like to build a house with a large retail complex selling beauty products.
