Nadiegueton F Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase farm inputs and seeds and to cover the cost of plowing.

Nadiegueton F Group's story

The members of the group NADIEGUETON F are married men, who average 45 years of age and five children each, all living in traditional families in Flazambougou, a village in Sikasso (3rd administrative region of the Republic of Mali). The men are collaborating with the the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso to carry out their farm working during the rainy season. The crop grown is corn, as is the case with Dramane, who is standing at the far right in the photo; he intends to use his loan to purchase some farm inputs and seeds and to cover the cost of plowing for maintaining 2.5 hectares. After the harvest, the produce is sold in the village and at Sikasso markets to a customer base composed essentially of retailers from big cities. He plans on making an average monthly profit of 450,000 francs CFA. This profit will enable him to pay back his loan and also to help the whole family to meet day-to-day expenses.
