Nadiegueton 3 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy seeds and farm inputs and to pay the cost of labor.

Nadiegueton 3 Group's story

The members of the Nadiegueton 3 group are married men who, on average, are 45 years old and have five children. They all live in traditional families in Flazambougou, one of the villages in Sikasso, the third administrative region of Mali. They are collaborating with the micro-finance institution Soro Yiriwaso in order to better carry out their farming activities during the rainy season. Adama, who is standing first from the left in the photo, grows corn. With his loan, he plans to buy seeds and farm inputs and to pay the cost of labor to farm one and a half hectares of land. After the harvest, crops will be sold in the village and at markets in Sikasso to customers who are mostly resellers coming from the large towns. Adama hopes to earn an average profit of 200,000 francs CFA per harvest. Earnings will allow him to pay back his part of the loan and also help his large family with their everyday expenses.
