Nubia Azucena's story
Nubia is a young, enterprising woman who is 22 years old. She is currently studying to be an English teacher at the university. She is a single mother and she has a daughter, who is not studying yet because she is still young. Nubia and her daughter live with Nubia's parents and her siblings. Nubia studies, but when she doesn't have to go to classes, she sells clothing, which is how she earns some of her income. She decided to purchase clothing even though at the beginning, she didn't buy much. With time, she realized that she was earning some income, so she decided to stock up her business. Before, she only helped her parents with the housework. The distances that she has to travel to sell the clothing vary, because she has several places where she goes to sell clothing now. She needs the loan to purchase clay bricks to build an oven to make bread. With the loan, she will be able to help her parents to purchase materials. When they make bread, they will be able to earn money that will help them to cover their family expenses, and to have a better quality of life. Her dream is to fight against any difficulty, to earn her university degree, and to one day to be in a classroom teaching, and contributing towards a better country. Living conditions today are not favorable, and they require hard work to achieve what one proposes.
