Mauricio Edilberto's story
Mauricio is a 26 year old man who studied until the ninth grade due to the lack of money in his family. At the moment he does not have any children and his wife makes a living as a housekeeper and brings his food to his work. His parents and one brother live with him. Mauricio works at a mill where they grind maize, as well as farming staple grains and vegetables. He learned to work in the mill because his mother has had a mill since she was young and during his free time she taught him how it worked. Regarding farm work, his father taught him when he was little, then his father fell ill and that is why, thus far, Mauricio has had to take charge of the farming duties so that his family can get by. His workplace is 15 minutes from his house and he walks there. His younger brother helps with the work, but only on weekends because he goes to school in another city. With the loan he will buy farm supplies which includes: two quintals of fertilizer, three quintals of sulfate and he will spend a portion of the funds on planting beans. The loan will allow him to buy all the supplies, otherwise it would be very difficult for him, because his family's economic situation is not good and he wants to produce a sufficient amount. His dream is to have his own house, because where he lives now belongs to his father. On the other hand he hopes to have his own mill to lend this service to others and somehow improve economically.
