Alexander's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to increase his inventory of summer shoes.

Alexander's story

Alexander started his own business almost 20 years ago. He initially bought clothing, which he resold at the market in a nearby village. He later bought a large quantity of shoes, which unfortunately didn't work very well. He had to sell his merchandise at a low price, just to recuperate his investment. This is how, by trial and error, he finally found the right merchandise to sell and the customers to sell it to. Alexander now works as an itinerant retailer, selling mostly women and men's leather shoes. He sells his merchandise in several small villages as well as in his own town, in front of the train station. Alexander wants to continue to develop his own business. He is taking a loan of 25,000 hryvnia to buy summer shoes. In the future, he is planning to open new retail outlets, to increase his working capital and to improve the day-to-day living conditions of his family.
