Dinora Noemy's story

Dinora, age 29, is a very hard-working woman. In spite of only having a sixth grade education, she sells perfume and catalog products in order to be able to help with the household expenses. Her husband is a bricklayer, and he covers the biggest part of the expenses. Dinora struggles to be able to get her three year old son and her one year old son ahead. She pays them a lot of attention because they are the ones that motivate her to get ahead. Dinora has been doing this business activity for five years. She sells the products and gets 25% of the price of each product. She goes out to sell at the houses in the same canton. Even though it is a little tiring, this is the way she gets some income to help in the household. She also helps with the agricultural activities. In addition to working as a bricklayer, her husband works in agriculture. Dinora will use the loan to buy the agricultural supplies that her husband will use in the production of basic grains. At this time she does not have enough resources to purchase them. That is why she needs the financial support. In the future she wishes to establish a chicken farm to fatten chickens. She will do this in order to be able to get enough funds to buy the agricultural supplies. She will also be able to take advantage of their dropping to fertilize the land. She will also continue working so that her children do not need anything.
