Hiari Ya Moyo Group's story

Amina, who is a treasurer of her group, has been supporting her family by managing a business selling varieties of items as per customer demand. Even if she is not selling what you want, she can order and deliver it to you freely. She sells shoes, women's handbags, women's and men's clothes, hair and beauty accessories. She has been in this enterprise operating at her house since 1995. Amina is a married mother of three schooling kids. She is aged in her late 30s and starts doing business from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Her business is able to make a good profit each month. She has made more than one loan request through Kiva partner Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to maintain her customers' demand plus buying new business products. She has paid back successfully all of her previous loans. Amina used the profit to cover part of the school fees and household expenses and to plow back into her enterprise. She will use this loan to restock her business with more new inventories. In the coming years, Amina would like to be an international businesswoman with more success. She will share this loan with her loan group, "HIARI YA MOYO," which consists of 11 members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
