Reyna Madelyn's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to invest in clothes. She will buy women's blouses, skirts, sheets, underwear, t-shirts for children and dresses. She will also repay a small debt from her mother.

Reyna Madelyn's story

Reyna, 18, studied up to the 5th grade and was unable to continue studying as there was no 6th grade in the community school and her mother did not allow her to continue studying. Reyna is single and has no children; she lives with her mother and two siblings. For the last two years, she has been working in clothes sales, she learned this trade on her own and she sells in the communities near to where she lives. She also makes a few journeys as her mother has a pick-up van. Her working day is varied, but in general is from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Reyna needs the loan to invest in clothing: she will buy women's blouses, skirts, sheets, underwear and t-shirts for children and dresses. She will also use the loan to pay a small debt from her mother. In the future, she wants to have a cafeteria in the community's clinic and she hopes to continue working with her business and with the profits be able to repay the debt incurred and be able to invest more in clothes.
