A loan helped to buy fertilizers and pay for labor.
José Javier's story
Every 15 days the partners of Grupo de Crédito Lodana, gather at the Lodana parish, in the city of Santa Ana. This last one is known for its beautiful landscapes and its gorgeous hot springs of fresh water (which are highly visited by many tourists). In this place lives don José, a single 43-year-old man who lives with his mom. He’s had 4 loans with Grupo de Crédito, and he likes it because every credit allows him to move forward in his agricultural activity. Mr. José is a man who likes to work, and in this way, get ahead in life. He works in the local government, but he loves the field and agriculture. That is why he cultivates the fields that are near his house. He grows vegetables, corn and fruits at any given season of the year. He is able to do that thanks to the suitable land and the irrigation system. He will use this loan to buy fertilizers and to pay for labor in the uprooting of the crops. His dream is to be able to preserve these last ones.
