Olga Maria's story
Señora Olga Maria R. Cortéz lives in the neighborhood América, located in the capital of Managua. She is 55 years of age, single, and lives with her three children, who are 20, 25, and 30 years of age and all working. Presently Señora Olga is working as a nurse at the health center in Tipitapa; she has been working for six months in this center, where in the future she desires to be able to come across a better job in which she can earn a better salary to continue supporting her family and giving them better economic stability. Señora Olga wants to continue working with micro loans so that little by little she can go about improving the house where she lives, and at the moment she requires financing for C$ 10,000 (Córdoba, currency of Nicaragua) to fix her roof, which she will pay back in twelve months.
