Las Amigas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy items such as groceries, drinks and tinned goods.

Las Amigas Group's story

This women's group is called Las Amigas (The Friends). This women's communal bank is in its 11th loan cycle. Each one of them is making a big effort to help their families by means of their joint endeavour.

Catalina is a member of the group and is also its president. She sells basic commodities, and it is through this work that she fights to be able to help her family and give them everything she was not able to have herself.

Catalina is asking for this loan to buy items such as groceries, drinks and tinned goods. In this way she can continue with her selling. Her dream is to be able to earn more money to be able to help her family through her work. There are extra people in this photo because the group has 18 members, but this round only 15 members are requesting a loan.
