Al-Fatimya Group's story

This group is called Al-Fatimya. It consists of three hardworking women from Aden, Yemen. They have requested a group loan of 260,000 YER from AMB, and they will hold each other accountable for the loan repayment. Raeda is a very active woman from a poor family. She is a 35-year-old mother of five children. She is the leader of the group. Her oldest child is 14 years old and the youngest one is only one year old. Her husband is the sole breadwinner of the family, however, at this point, he has become unable to look after his family. Raeda wanted to help him in this responsibility, so she started selling women's clothes door-to-door with a small working capital four years ago. Her income from this business is very low. Most of what she earns goes to the expenses of her family. On the other hand, she wants to improve her business. For this reason, she asked for a loan of 100,000 YER from AMB in order to acquire more women's clothes to resell to her customers. Raeda looks forward to expanding her business more. She hopes to save a lot of money in order to renovate her house. So, she is awaiting your support. She is a very grateful and kind woman.
