Ashwaq's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy a sewing machine, generator and electric scissors.
Ashwaq is a 36-year-old, married Iraqi woman. She has three children. Ashwaq started sewing in 2010; she bought a sewing machine to assist her husband in their family's income. Now that the family has grown and the expenses increased, Ashwaq decided to take a loan in order to improve workplace conditions and be able to increase her production to generate additional income to enable her children to go to school. She gained an excellent reputation in the neighborhood thanks to the quality of her work and affordable prices. Ashwaq is requesting a loan from Izdiharona to buy a new sewing machine, generator and electric scissors to increase her production. She is aiming to grow her business and open a small sewing factory to increase the number of jobs and help more jobless women. The story of Ashwaq and her sewing business is just one of the many examples of Izdiharona for Economic Development clients. She preferred to blur her face for cultural reasons.
