Estrella Fany's story
Estrella is a hardworking and enterprising 25-year-old woman who plants and grows coffee and then sells it. She is married. She forms a family along with her husband and son that has been blessed by God as he has given them the opportunity to have another child with whom she is several months pregnant. She learned about the agricultural field alongside her father as she has supported him in various agricultural activities since she was young. This support her family as it was a source of income for many years. She attended one grade of primary school before leaving in her second year. Before growing corn and beans, she sold food at the soccer field in her community on Sundays. She revealed that she cannot diversify her crops sinceher land is very hot and the temperature does not help. Her husband works in a private business as a loan officer but this has disadvantages as he is laid off for unspecified periods of time and he cannot apply for a loan since he could only get an individual loan of approximately Lps. 3000 as an employee Estrella is currently constructing a modest home from adobe and wood. It will be able to protect her family from rain, cold nights, and other threats to their health and safety. She dreams of seeing her children become professionals and her other goal is to have her own land since they currently rent the land on which they cultivate corn and beans. Currently, she is applying for this loans to buy agricultural products which will protect her crops this season since she is already preparing to plant them and grow excellent crops.
