Fatu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase more plastic bowls, buckets, plastic chairs and food containers for resale.
Meet 40-year-old Fatu from Masuba, Makeni Northern area, in Sierra Leone. She is married with four children. In 1998, Fatu established her plastics and rubber business. She began her business because she considered it as the best choice for self-empowerment. She works at the business ten hours per day and six days per week. She says that the main challenge to her business is the customs dues at the neighboring county, which are very expensive. Fatu requires a loan in order to purchase more plastic bowls, buckets, plastic chairs and food containers for resale. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to pay her children’s school fees and increase her business. In the future, Fatu plans to develop into an international business. She thanks you for your support.
