Virgen Asunta Oyara Group's story
The members belong to the communal bank “Virgen Asunta Oyara”. This bank is located in the district of Vilcabamba, which belongs to the province of La Convención in the department of Cusco.
The member is Juana. She is 45 years old and has a partner. She has a business which sells and raises animals. She also has a plot of land, where she grows plantains and coffee, and she also breeds guinea pigs and hens, which she fattens up and sells at the different fairs and markets. Juana manages to provide for her children through this small business. Her dream is to have a permanent store where she can sell her guinea pigs and hens. She is requesting the loan in order to purchase guinea pigs and hens, as well as animal feed.
The members whose photos are attached to the group photo obtained permission to have their photos taken after the meeting due to work reasons.
The other members make a living from agriculture, fruit sales, a grocery store, and food sales.
Juana is grateful to those who become part of her dream on this platform and she is committed to making her repayments on the dates stipulated.
