Ngeisok Lom Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more items like beads, thread, glue and plastic wire to make necklaces, earrings and bracelets.

Ngeisok Lom Group's story

Vungngaihliani is a talented lady; she is gifted in making accessories, such as traditional necklaces, earrings, bracelets, etc. (The colorful necklaces and earrings are displayed in the above profile picture.) She says that it doesn't fetch her much profit because she makes the accessories in exchange for cloth from the customer. Expressing her view, Vungngaihliani says it would be much more profitable and less stressful if she had capital to run the business as an entrepreneur. This is because she has to make the jewelry as per the customer's choice and meet their expectations, too, and get the jewelry ready before the deadline. Therefore, she wishes to set up her own jewelry shop, but with the meager income she gets, it is very difficult to manage the family and her children’s expenses. Her husband works on a daily-wages basis as a carpenter; hence, his income is not reliable. She wanted to expand and raise her business standard. Therefore, with the WSDS loan amount, she will invest in buying varieties and better quality beads. From the income she generates, she plans to open her own savings account to start up her own venture. The rest of the group members are also into homemade accessories businesses. Vungngaihliani express her sincere gratitude to WSDS for being such a great help.
