Donika's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped buy a dairy cow so that she can sell raw milk to dairy farms.
This is a photograph of Donika with two of her five kids, inside their home. She is forty-one and married. They live in a village. Donika works in livestock and arboriculture (cultivation of trees, shrubs and other woody plants). She wants to add another dairy cow to the existing herd. She says, “I have five children to feed. They range in age from five to twenty years old. I do what I can even though at times it becomes difficult financially. Adding another milk cow will give me the opportunity to sell dairy, hence, this will increase my family’s income.” Currently Donika has one dairy cow that fulfills their family’s needs for dairy, one horse that she uses for transportation and orchards growing plums, nuts and quinces that she sell to wholesale buyers. She also grows plants to feed to her animals.
