Utulivu Group's story
Kuzanwa is a businesswoman and member of the business group Utulivu. An experienced entrepreneur, she is 35 years old and married with two children who both go to school. Kuzanwa has been selling various medical products and medicines for the past 10 years. She conducts her sales from a local pharmacy. She initially launched her business with funding from her husband, a male nurse. She later turned to Hekima for financial support. This new loan will help her to buy 10 cartons of antibiotics, 10 cartons of anti-inflammatory drugs, some camphor ointments, gloves, plasters, tensiometers, thermometers, etc. Kuzanwa’s hopes for the future are to bolster her capital, build a house, and provide for her children’s needs with respect to clothing, food and education. Kuzanwa wishes to thank Hekima for helping entrepreneurs who cannot use the traditional banking system to become self-sufficient, especially in these post-war times in the Eastern region.
