Mohamed's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy more bags of groundnut (peanuts) and peppers for resale.
Mohamed is 45 years old and married with 3 children between the ages of 1 year and 13 years. He runs a local food business in Waterloo Western rural area in Freetown. He has been in this business since 1999 and sells groundnut (peanuts) and peppers. His business is the only source of income he has. He says that the main challenges to his business are transportation problems and storage facilities. Mohamed requested this loan through BRAC to buy more bags of groundnut (peanuts) and peppers for resale. He says that the extra income from this loan will help him to take care of his family's welfare and increase his business. In the future, he would like to expand his business more than ever.
